I dag ble den åttende runden med Exemplar-anerkjennelser publisert, og 4 norske dommere fikk tilsammen 6 anerkjennelser. Av disse var 3 fra andre norske dommere, mens 2 var fra finske dommere og 1 fra en dansk dommer.

Exemplar Program er et prosjekt som gir Magic: the Gathering-dommere over hele verden mulighet til å fremheve andre dommeres forbilledlige arbeid. Med dette menes arbeid eller adferd som bidrar til positive opplevelser, og som kan være til forbilde for andre dommere.

Om Lars Hove Meringdal (L1):

Jonas Breindahl (L2) skriver: "During the two days of RPTQs in Roskilde you showed an excellent wish for improvement. Either in asking plenty of questions or by working your butt off on the floor. Through conversations it is clear that you not only absorb new knowledge but reflect on it as well. Your striding towards learning and improving is a truly exemplary act!"

Over both days of the event, you were always asking the right questions and always pushing yourself to learn and do more without getting in the way of the event. John Eriksson (L3) skriver: "Lars, me being a honorary member of the Norwegian Judges' Facebook page, I get to see all the effort and time you put into it. You are creating content on the page as well as setting up Skype calls for the members. A good one third of the threads were started by you. I would expect this from the L2s in Norway, the "designated leaders" if you will, but seeing a L1 stepping up and taking on that extra responsibility is exemplar. Keep up being awesome!"
