I dag ble den syvende runden med Exemplar-anerkjennelser publisert, og 6 norske dommere fikk tilsammen 7 anerkjennelser. Av disse var 6 fra andre norske dommere, mens 1 var fra en sveitsisk dommer.

Exemplar Program er et prosjekt som gir Magic: the Gathering-dommere over hele verden mulighet til å fremheve andre dommeres forbilledlige arbeid. Med dette menes arbeid eller adferd som bidrar til positive opplevelser, og som kan være til forbilde for andre dommere.

Om Vidar Thorsby (L1):

Even Lindell Heggø (L2) skriver: "I've known that you were a deserving EP-recipient for a good while now, Vidar. Recent conversations with members of the Magic community in Bergen have made it clear how meaningful and positive of an impact you've had. You've turned a community that was a huge turn-off for players and judges alike, into something much more welcoming and inclusive. You've done this using both diplomacy and authority, as well as your contacts in all parts of the Bergen Magic community. People feel better about playing Magic at Outland now, and the numbers of new players are on the rise. While I think the above is so important that I want it to stand on it's own, know that this is not the only thing you've done that your players and fellow judges appreciate you for. Well done!"

Om Even Stene (L1):

Christian Munoz (L2) skriver: "To Even. I would like to thank you for everything you've done for our local community. I'm pretty sure I can say that without you we probably wouldn't have judges in the area or sanctioned events. You have made it possible for our community to have the amazing growth it has today by etablishing a democratic organization, being a inspirational organiser/judge and continuing being a strong leader. We've gone from holding non-sanctioned events to have local judges which are able to hold PPTQs. The community has grown from barely being enough players to hold a single draft, to have multiple tables draft on FNM, standard- and eternal format tournaments and highly casual playing. I appreciated that when we held our last PPTQ and couldn't play because you were the sanctioneer, you volunteered to help with the judging and cleaning during the event."

Om Marit Norderhaug Getz (L2):

Isa Grieb (L2) skriver: "At GP London we happened to cross paths quite a few times, and you showed a really impressive attitude there. While everything was going crazy, you kept your cool and seemed totally unimpressed by chaos and stressed people all around you. Whenever I handed you a task, you were focused and confident, asked the right questions and performed outstandingly. Moreover, your positive and energetic attitude had a very noticeable influence on people around you. I still have a hard time grasping that this was your first GP; you set a shining example even for vastly more experienced judges there!"

Om Lars Harald Nordli (L1):

Even Hansen (L2) skriver: "Lars Harald, though I have not been able to attend many of the Norwegian judges' skype calls, the arrangement has been great for the judges and is a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and experience. The conversations are easy to enter and have a welcoming environment under your guidance. I am extremely impressed by the amount of great work you've put into building the Norwegian judge community."

Marit Norderhaug Getz (L2) skriver: "I want to recognize you for the great work you keep on doing for the local and national communities. You're organizing judge skype calls, coordinating document translation and monthly online rules questions for players. You even started an online judge class recently when you noticed the large number of judge candidates in your region, which have no local L2 yet. You take on responsibilities far beyond what is expected of your level, and you always follow through on your projects, which is impressive, considering how much you are doing. Keep up the good work!"

You’ve clearly taken more responsibility for our small judge community since you became a level 2 judge in Stockholm. There is a special and unique quality in you which is not only admirable, but also very rare to find in other people. You put hours of selfless effort into making our small community more attractive for both new and returning players. This quality is something I truly revere. Not only as my role as a judge, but also as a role model, which you have become for me personally. I sincerely hope you will continue with the training of new and existing judges, hosting new and interesting magic-events, and especially the 5-colored cupcakes.
